Vice President of Republic of Ghana Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on Tuesday 29 September, 2020 led a New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegation team to commiserate with former President Jerry John Rawlings’s mother Victoria Abgotui’s death
His Excellency took to social media and share the visit where he wrote “This morning, I led a government delegation, on behalf of President @NAkufoAddo, to commisserate with former President of the Republic, H.E Jerry John Rawlings and family following the loss of his dear mother, Madam Victoria Agbotui.”
Veep Bawumia also aded how the NPP feels for him and sends their condolences to the Rawlings Family and that of Madam Victoria Agbotui’s.
“I expressed government’s deepest condolences to former President Rawlings and family for the loss.”
The Founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Rawlings mother died on Thursday 24 September, 2020, after celebrating her 101th birthday few months ago.

Ghanaians have shared the pain with the family of former President Jeryy of the sad exit of his mother.
