The National Science and Maths Quiz competition has become fiercely contested in recent times with second-cycles schools in Ghana doing everything within their might to win the competition.
The competition started in 1994, and as in every competition, there are some schools who can be considered as the ‘godfathers’ of the competition as they have won the trophy more than twice.
We take a look at these past winners of the National Science and Maths Quiz in this article. Our cut-off for this article will be schools with two or more National Science and Maths Quiz trophies.

Achimota School has won the National Science and Maths Quiz competition twice. They won the competition first in 1998 and later in 2004.
