Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has announced he’s heading to space as part of the first crewed flight on a rocket ship made by his company Blue Origin.
Mr. Bezos will be joined by his younger brother, Mark, whom he sees also as his best friend.
According to Jeff Bezos t his adventure has been his life long dream since age 5 and to now be able to do it is very massive for him.
Taking to his Instagram account to announce the news, Mr Bezos wrote: “Ever since I was five years old, I’ve dreamed of traveling to space. On July 20th, I will take that journey with my brother. The greatest adventure, with my best friend.”

Mr Bezos will be the first among his fellow billionaires with a space company to actually take a ride in a spacecraft technology he’s spent a fortune building.
Other billionaires including Elon Musk and Virgin Atlantic founder Richard Branson are way behind schedule in their plan to also exploit space with rockets built by their own company.
Bezos will realize his life long dream when he jets into the sky on the 20th of July 2021 in his 59 foot rocket named New Shepard, 60 miles above the earth surface.
