A video is fast-trending on social media which captures the moments some fishermen in Indonesia came across a black mermaid after it was washed ashore.

In the video, the creature was seen lying at the bank of the ocean wrapped with a fishing net as it struggles to get back into the sea.
The fishermen who came across the creature were also seen untying the fishing net in order for it to gain freedom and crawl back into the sea.
The video has since generated mixed reactions on social media as most people claim that the scene was staged while others claim otherwise.
The story about other living creatures like mermaids is just a superstition to some people but in some parts of the world, these creatures are believed to exist as others even go to the extent of wroshipping them.

In other news, one person is in a critical condition at the hospital following an accident that occurred at Sawla.
According to sources, they were heading from Sunyani to Wa in a Toyota Hilux with the registration number GT 8478-16 when it hit a pothole, went off the road, somersaulted, and landed in a ditch.
All the occupants in the car suffered various degrees of injuries and were immediately rushed to the Sawla hospital for treatment.
Reports have it that three of the injured occupants have been discharged from the hospital since their injuries were not that serious.
