When it comes to bleaching, the conversation has always been the same. People have a confused conception that light skinned people are more beautiful.
Fuse ODG seem to have a different notion to it all. He says bleaching is no way standard measure of beauty. Fuse has been championing and propelling the loving one’s culture and appreciating one’s true self for a while now.
He even went ahead to bring these black dolls on the market for blacks to get something of their own to fall on to when it comes to their kids.
In an interview, he said;
“It is just sad that today that is what we see but I want to tell the ladies that bleaching and all these things are not the standard of beauty. We are black and we should appreciate ourselves as such.
“But can you blame them? It is because of their orientation, we have been brainwashed to believe that is what beauty is about. Our culture is rich, we are rich as a people so let us start seeing ourselves that way,” he stated.
