Popular Ghanaian blogger, Ameyaw Debrah has said that Award-winning rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie is the more influential in the entertainment industry than his colleague, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, also known as Shatta Wale.

Ameyaw Debrah said that being most influential does not depend on your loudness and notoriety, adding that Shatta Wale has a strong fan base but that does not qualify him to be the most influential entertainer in the industry.
Speaking with Eugene Osafo Nkansah of Nkonkonsa fame, the celebrated blogger said that Sarkodie is the most influential entertainer looking at the way he carries himself in the industry and his brand, he is the complete opposite of Shatta Wale.
He listed a few names of some of the personalities in the entertainment industry he thinks are influential with what they do. He mentioned John Dumelo, Jackie Appiah, Yvonne Nelson, Sarkodie, Joselyn Dumas, Stonebwoy, Nana Ama Mcbrown, and Shatta Wale.
