Three-time former world Heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis has congratulated Tyson Fury for claiming a sensational victory over Deontay Wilder.
After the first meeting ended in a draw, the two Heavyweight superstars clashed in Las Vegas on Saturday with Fury winning via technical knockout.
The Briton produced the most destructive performance of his boxing life to end Wilder’s five-year reign as WBC heavyweight world champion in seven thrilling rounds of their Las Vegas rematch.
Fury delivered everything he had promised, transitioning from his hit-and-move style to overpower, outwork and bully his previously undefeated rival until the towel came in during the seventh round.
Reacting to the bout, Lennox said Fury once again showed up big while encouraging defeated Wilder to keep his head up.
