Most controversial media personality Captain Smart has joined Media General after announcing his resignation from Angel Broadcasting Corporation.

Captain Smart has been at the center of a whole lot of controversial for the past couple of days after he was allegedly suspended as a broadcast presenter and Head of Operations at Angel FM for his consistent criticism of the government.
It was alleged that the owner of the media firm and business mogul, Dr Kwaku Oteng called Captain Smart to let him know that some top government officials are not happy with the way he has been criticizing some government officials including the president and the vice-president, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo and Dr Muhamudu Bawumia.
He said the pressure coming in from the top government officials are so heated that he’s suspending him for about a month from all his on-air programs till things cool down for awhile.
The news since it hit the media space has been the ‘talk of town’ for a couple of days now with so many pundits and media moguls sharing their thoughts on the situation.
Recall Captain Smart couple of days ago on his show at Smart Television which is aired on Facebook begged the owner of Angel FM, Dr Kwaku Oteng to fire him from his company as to him, he’s not coming back to work at Angel FM.
He said he will never change from his ways of criticizing the recent government administration or officials when things are going wrong, hence will be suspended again should he come back to work at Angel Broadcasting Corporation.
In a new post by TV3, which is part of the Media General fraternity, the company has revealed the renowned media personality has joined them and it’s clear he will be co-hosting the New Day morning show with Berla Mundi.
