BREAKING: Fire Guts Shops At Makola, Accra Central

Information coming in says that Accra Central, Makola is currently on fire as the Ghana Fire service tries to quench the fire.

Firefighters are currently doing all they can to douse a raging fire at the Makola No.2 market in Accra. The news of the fire was reported by Starr FM on their Twitter page. In the video shared, it could be seen that almost all the shops on the block have been consumed by the fire.

Many people were also seen trying to help quench the fire. Information reaching Ghgossip

is that the fire service got to the grounds early but due to the congested area, they could not get enough space to settle in order to quench the fire which started from the fourth floor.

The course of the fire is yet to be identified…
