News reaching us indicate that, a middle aged woman has been murdered at Ahenema Kokoben, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
The woman, believed to be in her late 30’s unknown assailants and according to sources, the incident occurred on the dawn of Tuesday May 14, 2019 close to Asafo Boakye Hospital, a private health facility in the area.
Residents in the area revealed the deceased is not a native and that they don’t know her and could have been brought to the place by her assailants.
Her handbag and other personal effects were found beside her with traces of blood from her nostrils suggesting she may have been hit by a hard object while struggling with her attackers.
“There was blood stains on her face and I am sure she might have struggled with her killer before passing on” a resident said.
Police have taken the body from the scene of crime while investigations have been launched into the unfortunate incident.
