Jose Mourinho has been sacked by Manchester United days after his defeat to Liverpool in the English Premier league with immediate effect.

The English club confirmed Mourinho’s departure in a statement via their official website.

This latest development comes after a series of poor results, with the current one being a 3-1 loss to bitter rivals, Liverpool.

Relations between the manager and the executive vice-chairman, Ed Woodward, also seemed strained after the club did not sign a central defender this summer.

The club concluded that of the players in that position targeted by Mourinho whom they could potentially land, none was an upgrade on the existing squad.

Now we wait see how takes over from the Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
