The President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari has sought for a loan worth $5.5 Billion to aide the country fight the Novel Coronavirus.
According to reports from legit.ng, the loan is to the finances of the economy in a way which will help in putting in place some projects of priority which will help in the fight of the COVID-19.
This information of the loan acquisition was disclosed through a letter which was directed to the House of Representatives by the president and read by the Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila during the plenary on Thursday, 28th May 2020.
According to the letter, the loan will be used to prioritized some projects which will help in the fight of the novel Coronavirus.
