UK-based Ghanaian Gospel singer Jacqueline Sarfo Gyamfua, professionally known as Ohemaa Jacky has been arrested for defrauding a woman of €24,000.

According to the report, the relatively unknown singer cunningly scammed a Ghanaian lady called Barbara Adu Boahen with the promise of securing her a United Kingdom visa. It emerged that Ohemaa Jacky advertised on her Facebook page months ago that she has the ability to help people with visas to travel to the United Kingdom and the USA.

Barbara upon seeing the advert expressed interest in the deal and eventually, she was made to part away with €24,000. The gospel musician gave her two bank accounts to deposit the money which she willingly did.

Ohemaa Jacky, who happens to be the ex-lover of Gospel musician Brother Sammy proceeded to process her document and in no time she sent Barbara Adu Boahen a passport with a visa and other documents. But it turned out the documents were fake leading to her arrest at the Airport as immigration officers detected the documents as fake.

When she was released by police, she contacted Ohemaa Jacky and the gospel musician warned her not to mention her name without promising to refund her money. She recently returned to Ghana and that was when authorities effected her arrest immediately.

She was arraigned before a court with two charges; Defrauding with false pretense and forgery of documents.

This is not the first time Jacky has had a brush with controversies. Back in 2019, a lady identified as Afia Linking accused Ohemaa Jacky of sleeping with numerous men in Turkey.

According to her, when she’s going to meet Satan and she meets gospel musician Ohemaa Jacky on the way, she will return because she’s the devil herself.
