The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council is urging political parties to ensure decency in their campaign messages ahead of December’s elections.

Addressing a ceremony to introduce the running mate of the NDC to the leadership of the Council, Chairman of GPCC, Rev Prof. Paul Frimpong Manso advised parties to avoid distortions in their campaign messages.

“The parties must go with facts that can be proven and substantiated. Because when you go there with facts, you appeal to the emotions and get the people to show empathy to draw the person to you. After you get the emotions, then you appeal to the will. So every message that goes out, you appeal to the intellect that can be substantiated through facts and that can be justified”, he advised.
