Adom FM’s presenter Godsbrain Smart with an on-air name captain smart has been in the news recently after a video of him proposing to another lady in the USA known as Akosua Dwamena surfaced online.
The ‘fabewoso’ man proposed to the new love when he went to receive his award and thus split with his wife Afia Pokuaa.
Captain Smart was tagged a ‘Wife Snatcher’ after he got married to the wife of another man some years ago, an incident that led to the man he snatched his wife from dying allegedly from a broken heart.
Remember that Captain Smart’s ex-wife Afia Pokua was married to one man in Belgium and even had 2 kids with him, but abandoned him when he lost his job to Ghana. The woman then got into a relationship with Captain Smart and then they got married.

The man after hearing the news painfully made a video to give more evidence that he was indeed married to Afia Pokuaa, months later he died.
Since then, people have been calling him names for marrying a woman who was legally married.

He has however revealed that he ended his marriage of 3 years to Afia Pokuaa reason why he decided to propose to another woman.
In a Facebook post he made, Captain Smart has revealed that he divorced his wife Afia Pokua before her husband even died.
The Facebook post saw him lamenting about how Ghanaians insulted him without hearing his side of the story.

The post reads; “I have been silent for a long time concerning my marriage to Afia Pokuaa. I have been insulted, castigated, lambasted and vilified for the union. It’s up again. But please all of you should wait and hear from me why I ended the marriage before her late husband pass on.
You may hate me and might have joined the band. It’s because you haven’t heard my story. Wait for my side soon then you can pass your final comment and judge perfectly. I have been advised by large, medium and small personalities but it’s about time my followers know the truth and why I ENDED MY MARRIAGE TO POKUAA BEFORE HER LATE HUSBAND PASSED ON. Thanks”
