Cassper Nyovest has taken to social media to boast about becoming successful despite dropping out of school.
According to him, he would never had been famous if he had listened to people and stayed in school.
His post suggest that he is very happy he never listened to people who advised him not to dropout of school. His post reads;
“If I listened to people I would be stuck at home with a job I hate cause that’s what they told me when I was young. They told me I should go to school cause I wouldn’t make it. Go to school, get a job, they said. You know what I said? Watch me do it! By God’s grace, we here!”
This comes after he recently called out the the organizers of the South African Music Awards (SAMA).
He stated that the award scheme is dead saying many artistes are no longer interested in it anymore.
He stated that the awards used to be the biggest and most important award for artistes, however, it doesn’t mean anything due to corruption.
His post reads;
“Do people even remember who won the SAMAs last year? That used to be the biggest and most important award for artist. Now it doesnt mean anything. You know why ? Corruption, they thought they were bigger than the artists. They disconnected from the culture. It’s all rigged. Dead!”
