The Ghana Catholic Bishop’s conference has called on politicians to ensure proper law implementation and stop applying it on themselves.
They explained that there are difficulties regarding the Proper implementation of many laws in the country.
Their comments came up after the Imprisonment of some pastors for flouting covid19 protocols directed by the government came to limelight and what was observed during the NPP primaries
According to the Bishops, during the New Patriotic Party NPP parliamentary primaries, they did not comply with the social distancing rules and nothing has been done about with.
Most. Rev Philip Naameh, president of the Ghana Catholic Bishops stated that the cases of the aforementioned were individual cases in which they should have been arrested to clear the violation of the protocols.
