Gunmen have taken the lives of seven persons including a Catholic lector in Igabi and Kajuru local government areas of Kaduna State. 

Confirming the sad incident on Sunday February 28, the State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, said that the gunmen stormed Kajinjiri village in Igabi and killed two residents, Ibrahim Rabi’u and Abdulrahman Mohammad.

Kamal Murtala suffered severe gunshot injuries and is currently receiving medical attention at a hospital. Again, armed bandits killed one Alhaji Ibrahim Iro and Muhammadu Rabiu after attacking Rago Village of Igabi LGA.

At the same time, Clement Aura, a Catholic lector and two residents, Michael Shadari and Danlami Shaban were killed in Kutura station, Kajuru LGA.
