The Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) Kantamanto Branch has caught fire causing fear and panic amongst residents and traders and its environs.
A video hit social media with smoke coming out of the 7 storey building of the bank. Traders around the environs raised alarm and called on the fire service. However, some traders blame the fire service for arriving late when their assistance was needed.
A representative from the fire service team told Kofi TV that the cause of the fire is yet to be identified but the fire was able to destroy a few properties from the first floor to the third floor but there were no casualties.
