One of the oldest television show hosts who entertained kids in the 90s with an educative show was George Laing also known as “Uncle Goerge”.

George Laing was the host of the popular 90s Kids Television show “Kyekyekule”. Kyekyekule Kidz was a kids’ TV show which aired on GTV on Saturdays involved entertaining activities that gave kids the chance to learn new things while having fun.

The Magical words which usually served as the slogan for the show were “Kiddieboobs and kiddiebabs nyakapims and nyakapams mummies and puppies deshambles deshambas, kyekyekuley kyekyekofisa yeah; a  tagline for the show.

Kyekyekule was one of the entertaining shows in the 90s. Despite its entertaining aspect, it was very educative and many children wouldn’t want to miss the show on television. Aside from Kyekyekule, there were other interesting shows kids in the 90s would not miss for anything.

Uncle Goerge shared his motivation about how the show came about some time back in an interview.

According to him, he bumped his head on a table one day and he started asking himself questions concerning the happiness of Ghanaian children, and what he can do to make them happy, by the lead of the divine force, he came up with the magical words which served as the slogan of the show. He didn’t comprehend how he got those words but believed they were from God.
