The wulomo in accompany of two other people sustained some injuries when the group allegedly started throwing some objects at them whiles the rituals was going on.

The attack is said to have happened around 8 a.m and the group dispersed when the police service showed up at the scene to calm things down.

The Chief Inspector of the Teshie Police station, John Teye Nartey in an interview with Daily Graphic this morning stated that the station got a call that the wulomo and his shrine house were under attack and they didn’t waste any time responding to the call by dispatching some personnel to the scene.

He added that the group run away after they spotted the police coming towards the scene with his men chasing down some of them to make some arrests but was not successful. He said the police have started their investigations into the matter already.
