Popular Nollywood actress. movie producer and director Genevieve Nnaji was born on May 3, 1979, at Imo State in Nigeria.

She is the fourth child of eight children. Her mother was a nursery class teacher while her father was an engineer. She attended Methodist Girls College at Lagos and later cont inued at the University of Lagos.
Genevieve Nnaji started her acting career as a child actor in the then-popular television soap opera Ripples at the age of 8. She came into limelight when she featured in a movie titled “Sharon stone” which she played the role of a main character in the movie. The actress has won countless awards for her immense contribution to the industry.
