Ghanaians have been debating about the recent report by The Professor Yaa Ntiamoa-Baidu led Presidential Committee on Emoluments (PCE).

The committee recommended new salaries for Article 71 officeholders with Members of Parliament (MPs) and High Court Judges taking the same amount.

As we speak, the president of Ghana is expected to take home a monthly pay of GHC47,277, thus a GHC4,298 whiles the vice president is expected to take home GHC39,397.
