According to reports, Kofi Yeboah happens to be a teacher at the Abease Presbyterian Junior High School.

On Tuesday about 7:30 p.m., the deceased was returning from an errand in Komfuokrom when the event occurred, according to reports.

On his motorcycle, he is claimed to have come across the robbery. Mr. Yeboah was instructed to stop by the robbers, but he rode a short distance since he couldn’t stop promptly, according to sources.

The robbers shot into his rips, killing him on the spot in what appeared to be an attempt to flee.

The bandits took away the motorcycle he was riding with a friend, according to a commuter who also came to witness the operation.

“They threatened to kill us if we did not stop and I saw someone lying dead on the road but couldn’t recognise the face,” the commuter said.

He claimed that when he escaped unharmed, he raised an alarm to attract the attention of a patrol squad.

However, the robbers fled before the police arrived, and it was then that they discovered the linguist’s body on the side of the road.

Meanwhile, the body of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue for autopsy as the police commence investigation on the matter.
