Daughter of the legendary award-winning author and poet, Chinua Achebe, Nwando Achebe has taken to social to pen down an emotional tribute to mark the 8th year since she lost her dad.
In a post sighted on her Twitter page, she shared photos of adorable moments she had with her dad while he was alive. She described her loss as a very deep one since she continues to miss her dad very badly after 8 years on.
Her tweet read:
My beloved dad and best friend, Chinua Achebe, passed away 8 years today. Missing you, daddy, more than you will ever know. May the souls of the dearly departed rest in perfect peace. @achebe_chidi
