H.E.R. 23, received two awards – Best R&B/soul female artist and the Ashford & Simpson songwriter’s award for “I Can’t Breathe.” The “I Can’t Breathe.”

H.E.R. was this year’s top nominee at the Soul Train Awards, with eight nominations followed by Chris Brown with seven.
