Popular Jamaican singer, Christopher Matins has spoken to the Ghanaian media and stated clearly whose song is played extensively in Jamaica between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.
Christopher Martin is a reggae/dancehall singer and songwriter from St. Catherine, Jamaica. Martin won Digicel’s Rising Stars in 2005 and is best known for the songs “Take My Wings”, “Giving It” and “I’ll Be Your Driver”.
Speaking to blogger Arnold Mensah Elavanyo, the host of social media entertainment program dubbed ‘Vibes in 5’, the Jamaican artiste said that although he’s a good friend to Stonebwoy, he won’t hide the truth which states that Wale’s songs are BIGGER in Jamaica than that of Stonebwoy.
Stonebwoy is my friend, we actually have something together, his songs are there, but Shatta Wale songs are very popular and crazy, there’s this particular song, i have forgotten the title, it’s very bhad in Jamaica’.
He went on to say that, he is ready to have a collaboration with anyone who’s ready for it and said Shatta Wale is one of the artiste he will like to work with in Ghana.
