Ghanaian model Efia Odo has fired back at critics who are counter attacking the #FixTheCountry hashtag with their own #FixYourSelf hashtag on Twitter.

Efia Odo stated that most of the citizens in this country are corrupt because the leaders of this country through their actions and decisions are also corrupt. She quizzed that the bad leadership in the country is causing the citizens to be ‘bad’.
This was a response to the counter hashtag by some Ghanaians who also think the people of this country need to fix themselves and be responsible citizens before they ask the government to fix the country.
Efia Odo revealed that most of the citizens who are been tagged as corrupt are just following the footsteps of the politicians and the leaders of this country who are just looting and amassing the country’s wealth for their personal gains.
How can you say fix yourself when it’s bad leadership that is causing us to be “bad” citizens. Citizens are corrupt because our leaders are corrupt. WE ONLY FOLLOW WHAT OUR LEADERS LEAD! #BlackTuesday
She also stated that people should stop blaming the citizens for being the reason why the government can not provide some basic social amenities for the people because they don’t pay their taxes.
She compared Ghana with the United States saying most citizens in the United States don’t pay their taxes but that doesn’t stop the government from providing some basic social amenities like portable drinking water for the people.
Yes, some people might not be paying taxes but in America a lot of people don’t pay their taxes but theres still clean drinking water. Let’s not Blame citizens for being the reason why we don’t have basic things OK! We can talk about the tax shit later! #FixTheCountryNow
