RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner, has penned a new five-year deal with Chelsea.

The Premier League club agreed to pay €50m (£45m) to trigger the release clause of the 24-year old, who will earn more than €10m (£9m) per season at Chelsea.

The Germany international will join his new club next month as he plays the remainder of the season at RB Leipzig.

He has made a total of 157 appearances for RB Leipzig, scoring 93 goals and 40 assists.

Chelsea fans all across the world have expressed their joy in the signing of the player as they hope the player is coming to boost the attacking force of the club.
