Charles Nii Armah Jnr, known popularly within the music industry as Shatta Wale had explained to Paul Adom Otchere, host of the evergreen Good Evening Ghana programme on Metro TV his reason for not congratulating Sarkodie over his BET award.
Sarkodie made Ghana proud when he won the BET award for the Best International Flow at the 2019 BET HipHop Awards.
Tonnes of congratulatory messages flooded Sarkodie’s social media handle from industry players and fans but conspicuously missing was that of Shatta Wale.
Explaining why he did not join the bandwagon, Shatta Wale said he has a problem with Sarkodie so he cannot behave like a hypocrite and go ahead to congratulate him.
He also said he’s not obsessed with awards like Sarkodie does hence he found no reason to congratulate him.
