Connor McGregor, the man with iron fist stunned fans with classic display of style and skill when he flawlessly beat his opponent, Donald Cerrone, just 40 seconds into his “comeback ” match.
The Irishman made his comeback a memorable one. This is his first fight after being away for 1 year 3 months. His jabs, kicks, dashing in and out were classic. He came into the ring fully prepared.
Connor is in high hope to take back what is his. He is currently the first UFC fighter to knockout opponent in Featherweight, Lightweight and Welterweight. Connor is now drawing Nigerian fighter, Kamaru Usman into a fight. He teased Usman who happens to be the champion of the division and other fighters who were present when he won against Donald.
He said:
” Anyone of these mouthy fools can come get it…. I’ve made history, I’m the first UFC fighter to secure knockout in three different divisions “
He further added:
” I like this weight division, I feel very good, I don’t believe I’m there yet, I’ve got a lot to do. I’m going to a party then get back to it. Every single one of them can get it. I’m back ! “
It’s alleged that Usman made dreadful tweet directed to Connor before his match against Donny.
Connor is slated to fight Floyd Mayweather this year. Mayweather Promotions and the UFC organizers are in talks for a possible rematch.
The two fought in August 2017 where the Irishman lost the match.
