A message of hope has been shared by the President of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo.

On his fourth update on the novel coronavirus outbreak in the country, the president revealed that his directive of mandatory quarantine for travellers in the past few days has paid off as it has helped in stopping the virus from spreading amongst people in the country.

According to him, 53 people out from the confirmed 137 cases have been treated and will be discharged after a last test is carried out on them. 2 people have recovered fully and will also be discharged in the coming days.

The president still advised Ghanaians to stay home and follow safety protocols to help the health officials and the country flatten the curve on the virus.
