The 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music awards is going down live this evening at the Accra International Conference Centre and from all indications, it’s going to be an unforgettable night.
Before the show itself commences, let’s take a look at the ‘Artiste of the Year category. Artist of the Year is the topmost award at the Ghana Music Awards, given to the artist(s) adjudged by the Academy, Board and the general public as having the highest audience appeal and popularity.
Historically, Sarkodie is the only artiste to have won the award on two different occasions and that’s the reason why many people are clamouring for him to win the Artiste of the Decade award.
