The Supreme Court of Ghana granted former President John Dramani Mahama permission to present his final presentation at the ongoing hearing of the presidential election petition before Tuesday 23 February.

The court did so in the interests of justice, said Chief Justice Anin Yeboah.

Mr. Anin Yeboah said in court on Monday, February 22, that “We believe that life can present its closing speech on or before Tuesday the 23rd for the sake of justice.”

The Supreme Court has set a date to rule on the electoral petition presented by former President John Dramani Mahama.

After the hearing on Monday, February 22, the chairman of the seven-member panel, Judge Kwasi Anin-Yeboah, announced that the ruling will be delivered on Thursday, March 4.
