On Wednesday, March 16, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control reported that 179 new cases of the coronavirus was recorded across the states.
According to the health agency, Lagos State recorded the highest of the day with 42 cases followed by Taraba State. See the breakdown of the cases below;

Nigeria now has 161,261 confirmed cases whiles 146,395 patients have been released from various isolation centers. But then, 2,027 deaths has been recorded after the virus struck Nigeria.
