Ghanaian musician, D-Black’s born Desmond Kwesi Blackmore has indicated that the days of writing good rap is over because it doesn’t pay.
He explained that when he used to write good rap it didn’t make him money but When he dropped his song ‘Vera’ which has a small rap verse everything changed

Speaking with Abeiku Santana on his ‘Atuu’ show on UTV, when asked about why he doesn’t do good rap he noted that when he was rapping he was broke which he only got the accolades but didn’t get any money.
According to him, he has stopped rapping but he’s just trying to be ultra-commercial
D-Black who is also a business mogul has been criticized over the years about his style of rapping which many people even claim he’s a lazy artiste.

However, he claimed that he went to BET with $800 but after returning he was very broke but things changed when he released the “Vera” songs
