Two of Nigeria’s biggest exports Davido and Wizkid maybe have their music careers destroyed by their record label Sony Music.
The two artists have not been releasing songs like they used to before and bringing up the issue of album releases is a no go area as the two have continually disappointed fans with the release and promotions of their album.
They are likely to lose the 2020 battle to the African Giant Burna Boy who has announced he will be releasing his ‘African Giant’ album on 26th July this year.

The Sony recording deals Davido and Wizkid signed two years ago are restricting then from releasing music indiscriminately.
As a procedure in Sony Music, every record these two aforementioned artiste make must go through certain formalities including vetting, sanctioning, release and marketing through Sony Music.
They both yet to release their first single for 2020 especially for Wizkid who took about three months break from music.
