David Adedeji Adeleke, better known in the music industry as Davido has for the first time, talked about why he mentioned Burna Boy; Odogwu in his latest song ‘Fem’ and all the hullabaloo of Wizkid beef.
Ghgossip.com has sighted a Facebbok trending video posted by Twwnationtv, an interview with Davido explaining why he mentioned Burna Boy in Fem song.
We all know Burna Boy accolades himself as ‘Odogwu’, a nickname that became popular after his 2019 Grammy nomination for Best World Album category which he lost to Angelique Kidjo.
Burna Boy fast forward made a song titlied Odogwu and has since become his tag and nickname.
In Davido’s latest single Fem, he brought the name into a line where he says ‘Tell Odugwu we like to party…. just call me…”
In the official interview of Bounce Radio with Davido, the DMW CEO explained that, he never meant to spark another beef with Burna Boy for mentin Odogwu in Fem. He instead said, he was trying to call his colleague brother Burna Boy to smoke the peace pipe and party together.
“The song is not about him. Tell Odogwu say we like to party. Just call me, call me, call me. The song is for everybody who likes to party for no reason.” Davido said.

Moreover, Davido reiterated that, personally, he has no ill feelings for Burna Boy; Odogwu and he is wholeheartedly happy that he has made it to the top in his music career.
“I’m happy for you, I’m happy you’re up, I’m happy you’re rich. I’m happy for you in everything brother.” David Adeleke Davido in refered to Burna Boy in the interview.

However, Davido said it is him, Wizkid, and Burna Boy are the top three artists of Nigeria’s Music Industry.
