One of the widespread rumors this week is about the Ayew brothers (Dede & Jordan) quitting the Black Stars.

These rumors have gone wild with many Ghanaians sharing their thoughts about it, however, it seems there is some miscommunication.

Per the latest development, they are still committed to Ghana and this was made known by the spokesperson for the Ayew family, Fiifi Tackie.

He debunked these rumors and he made this known in a recent post on the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter.

“Andrè and Jordan Ayew are still very committed to the Black Stars team as they have always been. They will keep donning the Black Stars jersey to represent Ghana and give the team their very best on and off the pitch, as always. We just got off the phone.”

Some reactions from this latest development are;

@owususamuel1751 – Boss please call them again… they’ve done more than enough. We really appreciate but we don’t need their service anymore in the future

@SalamChase – The AYEW brothers are playing because of what their father did ..it’s time they go for new players to come in

@JoeMacoscos1 – We should just qualify to the world cup. After the world cup, no one should tell them to hang their boot. We will start a new project from there
