Ghanaian TV personality, Deloris Frimpong Manso well know as Delay is a TV and radio presenter, public speaker, entrepreneur, producer, and women’s advocated in Ghana.
She was born on 25th June 1982 at Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region of Ghana. She lost both parents at a very tender age with her two other siblings where Delay took up the mantle as a mother to her two other siblings.
Delay attended Aburi Girl’s Senior High School for her secondary education and later furthered to Methodist University College Of Ghana.
She started her broadcasting career as a radio presenter with Life FM in Nkawkwa in the Eastern Region. In 2015, she moved to Accra when she was employed as a mid morning show host presenter in one of the biggest radio station.
Later in 2007, Oman FM which was newly established radio station hired her as a presenter. he worked with Oman FM for over a decade and was known on radio as Frimpomaa.
She joined entreprenuership in 2012 where she first introduced ladies bags and shoes at her bought called ‘Smooch”. Afterwards she introduced Delay Mackerel and when it was a success she added Delay Tomato Paste and Sardine.
Because of her strong zeal for TV and radio, she started her own TV program in 2008 known as the Delay Show. Later in 2012 she wrote and produced her first TV series on TV ”The Household” and proceeded to add ”Afia Schwazenneger” and not forgetting ”Cocoa Brown” based on her true life story.
She has received series of honours for her good works.
In 2017, Delay was fortunate to be the first on Pulse Ghana list of five most industrious celebrities. In 2018 again she received an award at the 3G Awards in New York in regards to her feminisim and hard working efforts of women in the society.
She was made an ambassador for the iYES at the fifth edition of iYES launched Accra. She has been engaged in public speaking where she usually shares her experience as a womanto encourage other women.
Delay has ambitions of becoming the first female president of Ghana hopefully in 2032.
In 2017, Delay announced her newly bought two new houses.
