Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has been keenly following proceeding unfolding in the ongoing World Cup being held in Russia.
Apparently, the rapper has thrown his weight behind all the African representatives in the competition and was eagerly anticipating their success.
However, just as the script dictates, all the African teams have been bundled out in an embarrassing manner except Senegal, whose fate lies in their own hands when they take on Columbia in their final group game this evening.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria were in a pole position to progress to the next stage of the competition alongside Croatia. There was a firm belief shrouded in a sense of optimism that they will kick Argentina out.
The omen was good for them; Argentina has been very poor with series of unimpressive performance in their previous games.
Nigeria was tied at 1-1 with just few minutes to go until Manchester United’s Rojo made himself an unlikely hero by executing the kind of finish that would have initially led millions to believe that it was a finisher with the quality of Sergio Aguero, Higuain or even Messi himself.
There’s was pain and anguish across Africa and Sarkodie felt it too. He couldn’t contain his emotions so right after the game, he took to social media to inform his followers that has to control his emotions so he’s not carried away by the mixed feelings associated with watching World Cup games.
