Buenos Aires based team, Boca Juniors found the perfect way to pay tribute to the legendary Diego Armand Maradona after his passing on Wednesday, 25th November 2020.

Maradona’s death has been a hard pill to swallow for both friends, family and some football fans around the world. On Wednesday night, thousands of people ga thered at La Bombonera, the home stadium of his former club, Boca Juniors to mourn him.
The team mourned the iconic player by turning off all the lights in the stadium except the light in his VIP box. Residents also did same by turning off the lights in their homes to ay tribute to Maradona.

The world cup winner died at the age of 60 from after he suffered a cardiac arrest.
