Reports emerging from Ivory Coast indicate that popular Francophone artiste, DJ Arafat who passed away some few days ago would be interred on the 30th and 31st of August, 2019.
Kenzo Kouadio, Chairman of the DJ Arafat organizing committee in a press conference disclosed this.
He said;
“We have retained the dates of 30 and 31 August, but the places are not yet defined. We are struggling to have the Felix Houphouet Boigny stadium and we are on track. Williamsville Cemetery being closed, we are also fighting for a place for Arafat.”
There were also wild rumors that former Camerounian striker, Samuel Eto’o has donated a whopping CFA 42 million, but according to the chairman, such rumors are false and he urged the general public to disregard such information.
DJ Arafat passed away some few days go after he crashed his motorbike. He is considered to be Ivory Coast’s most prominent music with 11 albums to his name.
