Donald Trump Calls LeBron James A 'Racist'

Former US president Donald Trump has tagged NBA and Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James as a ‘racist’.

This comes after the NBA super star reacted to the news of a ‘white’ police officer who allegedly shot a teenage ‘black’ girl to death on the very that Derek Chauvin, the officer who was involved in the death of George Floyd was sentenced to prison.

LeBron was so much angry that he poured his frustrations on the police officer sharing his photo on his Twitter page and telling him he is next in line after Derek Chauvin. He later deleted the pot and came back to defend himself as to why he tweeted that post.

ANGER does any of us any good and that includes myself! Gathering all the facts and educating does though! My anger still is here for what happened that lil girl. My sympathy for her family and may justice prevail!

I’m so damn tired of seeing Black people killed by police. I took the tweet down because its being used to create more hate -This isn’t about one officer. it’s about the entire system and they always use our words to create more racism. I am so desperate for more ACCOUNTABILITY

Well, the former president has reacted to the tweet from the 4 times NBA champion tagging him as racist, divisive, nasty etc. In part of the statement released this morning, Donald Trump stated;

LeBron James should focus on basketball rather than presiding over the destruction of the NBA, which has just recorded the lowest television RATINGS, by far, in the long and distinguished history of the League.

“His RACIST rants are divisive, nasty, insulting, and demeaning. He may be a great basketball player, but he is doing nothing to bring our Country together

The won’t be the first time Donald Trump and LeBron James has been at each other’s neck. Recall during Trump presidency, there was a Twitter rants between the two which resulted in James turning down the offer to visit the White House after the Lakers won the NBA championship in 2019.
