Ghanaian international, KP Boateng has successfully completed his loan move to Spanish giants, FC Barcelona, a move that has caused much buzz here in Ghana and probably other places.

An official statement from Barca’s website reads;

”FC Barcelona and US Sassuolo have arrived at an agreement for the loan of the player Kevin-Prince Boateng for the remainder of the 2018/19 season. The agreement includes an €8m purchase option.

The former AC Milan star will officially be unveiled today, 22nd January 2019 further statement from the club reveals.

It’s not as though KP is a bad player that’s why there has been much scrutiny on his move to arguably biggest team in Europe right now.

In fact, on a good day- KP can be as deadly as Ronaldo or Messi but his inconsistencies, injuries and unsuccessful stints he had had with his previous clubs has been the premise in the argument here.

From the Ghanaian perspective, we can only wish him the best as he happens to be the first Ghanaian to ply his trade for FC Barcelona.
