The President of IMANI Africa Mr Franklin Cudjoe has told President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to wake – up because the UNIPASS implementation by Dr Bawumia is not going well.
According to Mr Franklin Cudjoe the state is loosing GHC200 million because people are paying very less for duties at the port.

“One major challenge to the trade pact is the retrogressive UNIPASS which is making the state lose nearly Ghc 200m a month. The porous technology is giving way for people to pay so much less port duties. Nana Addo, wake up oo. Do not let Bawumia’s enhanced paperless ports agenda continue to fail oo”,he posted on his Facebook page.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia introduced the paperless system at the ports to reduce the level corruption which goes on at the port.
