Mr Poku Kwarteng, the father of the late superstar Ebony Reigns, has revealed that her late daughter’s one year anniversary has been called off until a later date.

Ebony’s death sent shocking waves down the spines of all Ghanaians and music lovers across the world when news of her ghastly motor accident on the Kumasi-Sunyani road permeated the airwaves and social media.

Ebony died with her bodyguard, Frances Atsu Vondee and her bestie, Franky Kury around the late hours of February 8 2018, few days to her 21st birthday.

Her father, Mr Kwateng AKA Starboy Kwarteng who now manages her affairs following a tussle with Bullet, real name Ricky Nana Agyemang told Abeiku Santana that they have postponed her anniversary to March.

He however revealed that they are yet to settle on a specific date to honour Ebony’s legacy during her relatively short stint in the music industry.

“It was supposed to be next month but I have shifted it to March, so we have about two more months to go.

I haven’t fixed the exact date yet but it will definitely be in March. We are working on that collectively, it’s not just me. Her mother is in Ghana as I speak so we are yet to decide,”  – he disclosed.
