The Edo state government has imposed a 24hr curfew on residents until further notice after the Ugbekun police station and High court burned.
The curfew is reported to take effect from 4 pm today October 19, 2020, until further notice looking at how things are getting out of hand.

It was reported earlier that some people have hijacked the people protest and are destroying things and releasing prisoners hence the curfew.
