Fast-rising Ghanaian singer Sowa has added his voice to the brouhaha regarding Kumawood actress Emelia Brobbey’s ‘Fa me ko’ song.
Emelia Brobbey has been in the news the past two months following the release of her first commercial song since joining the music industry after the Kumawood movie industry took a nose dive.
From left, right center, Emelia Brobbey has become a subject of mockery by many music lovers as many claim her ‘Fa me ko’ song is whack.
Dansoman based Highlife and Afrobeat songwriter and performer Sowa does not think likewise.
In a post Sowa made on his Intagram page, he disclosed that all those criticizing Emelia negatively are only envious of her.
The ‘for better for worse’ crooner stated that Emelia Brobbey’s song is better than songs of some Ghanaian female singers in 2019 adding that the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards board must nominate her song.
Sharing a photo of Emelia Brobbey on his page, he wrote in the caption below;
After listening to Emelia Brobbey’s ‘Fa me ko’ I realized those bashing her are only hating on her because she is doing something they can’,t do. ‘Fa me ko’ is better than some songs of some female musicians in Ghana for 2019. In fact it deserves a nomination in 2020 VGMAs.. theme of the song is on point. Congrats Emelia Brobbey… Will love to feature you on one of my songs…
