The English Premier League has come to an end today after final games were played across all league centers today.
Manchester City has successfully defended their title after edging out Liverpool with just a single point. Last year’s winner of the Golden Shoe, the award given to the highest scorer of the league, was won by Mohammed Salah and he has replicated it this year too.
The Egyptian netted 32 times , while finding the target 44 times across all competitions but this year he has to share it with Liverpool team-mate Sadio Mane and Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after they all scored 22 goals each.
This year’s EPL will perhaps go into the history book as the best league competition ever with Man City and Liverpool serving us with pure football wrapped in unending emotions.
I’m particularly happy for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for proving his worth for my darling team Arsenal after years of being prolific in Germany.
